About us
Crystal Rain was founded during spring 2007 when Ryan Slade (vocals), Johnny Fire (guitar) and J. Edgeman (drums) decided to establish new band after their previous band stopped functioning. The following time brought a few live and recording line-up changes, but the main trio has stayed the same. The current line-up with Money (bass) and Misty Gallows (keyboards) has existed since summer 2010. The music of Crystal Rain has been influenced by melodic rock and metal. Some bands to mention for the inspiration are Marilyn Manson, Paradise Lost, Type O Negative, Kiss, Amorphis, Sentenced, Him etc. First songs were composed during spring 2007 and demo was recorded five months after the first rehearsals. The demo achieved good response and the career opening gig was done in Kaapelitehdas 13.10.2007 as part of annual beer festival of KOFF - rocking in front of 1600 people! Throughout the years Crystal Rain has played several gigs and recorded demos and promo songs. The first EP is on its way and will see the daylight in autumn 2011. The contract with Mama Trash Promotions was signed in 2009. Being a part of an international Trash Family has had a remarkable meaning and it brought many interesting contacts and the most important - new fans for the band. This co-operation will continue…
